Requirements:
A GSM cellular phone with no service-provider lock. If you are unsure whether your phone is locked or not, test it with a SIM card from a service provider other than your own. The phone must be capable of functioning in the 900 MHz GSM band. (More bands are ok.)
Your Lithuania SIM Card Cell Phone Number:
Your cellular phone number for Lithuania is displayed on the front of your Prepaid Lithuania SIM Card. It's above a barcode and to the right of "Jüsy telefono numeris:"
Dialing information
In order to call to your Lithuania cell phone number from the USA, the correct sequence is 011-370, then the Lithuania cell phone number including the area code (ex. 011-46-768-61 23 45). Please be sure to inform anyone who has your Lithuania cell phone number as to the proper dialing sequence in order to ensure you receive your calls.
To call the U.S., dial 00 then 1 (U.S. country code) + the area code and phone number.
Important: Most US toll free numbers are not accessable from overseas. Be sure to get valid international numbers prior to your departure.

Your Phone Number:
Your cellular phone number for Lithuania is easily found in your Prepaid Lithuania SIM Card package. Therefore, you will have your new Lithuanian cell phone number prior to your departure.
Activating Your Service:
- Go to Lithuania
- Make sure the Labas SIM card is properly inserted in the cell phone *
- Be sure that battery is charged
- Turn on your phone. Enter your PIN number
- Your service is now active
- Cellular Abroad suggests you turn off your PIN-check feature in your phone. (Consult your handset cell phone manual under "security" or "PIN")
*Snap out the Lithuania SIM chip from the SIM chip holder and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs. (You will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone.)
Adding Talk Time: You can recharge your card in two different ways, using a Labas reload card purchased from authorized retailers in Lithuania or via Labas Check available at Statoil and Lukoil gas stations, post offices, BITE offices, IKI shopping centers and Vilniaus bank ATM machines. There are over 5000 points of sale in Lithuania
Rates:
Rates are expressed in Lithuania Litas and are based on per-minute charges. For up-to-date currency exchange rates, use the Currency Converter. Rates are billed by full minute increments for the first two minutes, then by 30 second increments afterwards.

Service Life:
On your account you have 7 Lt, the period of validity of the account is 3 months, the period of validity of the phone number is 12 months. The period of validity is starts from your first call. The period of validity of the account is a period of time during which you can both make and receive calls. You phone number is valid for 9 months after the end of the validity period of the account. During this period you can receive calls but you cannot make calls or send SMS. If you want to make calls again, you have to reload the account. At the end of the period of validity of the account, the money on it does not disappear: it is "frozen", and later it is added to the newly reloaded amount.

If you're having a service issue, please call Cellular Abroad or relay a message to us through a contact back in North America and include any alternate phone numbers as well as the best time for us to call. Usually there is a simple fix. (It's also important to document any problems while you're abroad instead of after your return.)
Note: Toll free 800 numbers based in the US can not be called from overseas cell phones in most cases. If you are able to connect to an 800 number in the US, you will be charged for an international outgoing call.
