Europe Hotspot Rental
Our hotspot rental offers unlimited 4G/5G LTE data for travelers*. The mobile hotspot is a plug and play portable device about the size of a small cell phone that transmits your own secure Wi Fi hotspot and works anywhere in Europe. You can use a Wifi hotspot with any Wi Fi enabled device including cell phones (even those locked to a specific carrier), tablets, PCs and any other device with Wi Fi. The Mobile Hotspot Rental is very easy to use and eliminates the need to purchase roaming and data plans with your carrier which are often not available for many devices (like your iPad or PC) and are expensive and offer very little data and/or slow data.
The hotspot is perfect for travelers who want to connect to multiple devices such as a computer and a cell phone or for multiple users such as a family. In addition, your data is secure as it is encrypted. Free Wi Fi in Europe is not only limited and often slow but is also a recipe for potential security breeches which is one of the last things you want to happen when you are abroad.
Please note that you can make phone calls through data by downloading apps such as Whatsapp, Google Voice or, Talkatone which is a free app that Cellular Abroad recommends.
Rental Steps
Enter your departure date and your return date to view the cost. We also offer rental insurance which is available during checkout. Time permitting, we will ensure that your hotspot rental is delivered to your home in the USA or Canada no less than 2-3 days prior to your departure. When you return from your trip, simply use the USPS package provided with your rental. You have two business days after your trip to ship the rental back.
Using your Hotspot
Using your hotspot rental couldn’t be easier. Simply turn on the hotspot, connect with your phone, PC or other device and enter the password on the back of the hotspot. That’s all you have to do. All hotspots come with the charger, plug adapters and a convenient travel case.

*Please note that, although it is standard policy in the cellular business to advertise the term, “unlimited” but there is a “Fair Usage Policy” that specifies data caps. Cellular Abroad wants to make it clear that users have 20GB of high speed data per each 30 day period.
