We offer three different plans.
Tourist Plan
The Tourist Plan fits the needs of most tourists traveling to Italy. This plan offers unlimited calls in Italy and the rest of the EU to Italian numbers plus gives you 320 minutes of calls to the US and Canada from Italy and a generous 80GB of 4G/5G data per each 30 days. Professional Plan
This plan is for travelers, often professionals (like travel writers and videographers) or students, who need an exceptional amount of data (100GB of 4G/LTE). It also offers unlimited calling within Italy. While calls in Italy are unlimited, this plan does not have international calling but you can of course call internationally with Skype, WhatsApp, Talkatone, or any other app that uses data to make a call. Executive Data Plan
This plan is data only and offers 200 GB of data. You can of course call and text apps as they rely on data. This option is particularly useful for hotspots and tablets but can also be used with a cell phone. Also available as an e-SIM on our Italy e-SIM page.
Our Italy SIM options use Vodafone, the largest carrier in Italy with the best coverage in Italy and the rest of the EU. Vodafone provides excellent coverage and 4G/LTE data speeds throughout Italy, including Sicily, Sardinia, and virtually anywhere else in Italy. To activate the SIM card, simply email us the activation date as per the instructions we provide together with your order.
If you don’t have a phone, you can add an unlocked cell phone to your Italian SIM card order (available as an add-on in the cart) and get everything you need to stay in touch for your trip. All our phones include an international charger and plug adapters. This is the perfect solution for travelers who don’t have an unlocked phone or who want to have an extra backup phone…just in case.
